Upgraded from 2005 to 2008 pro. Now it opens and runs very slow, and slows down my whole computer. It takes several minutes to even get to the password screen, then another several to open the program. What can I do. Someone else said something about not mapping the drives. But, didn't tell you how to un-map them, or see if they are mapped.
When did you upgrade? You can get a no questions asked refund in 60 days. If that will let you get to September 18 to 25, then you can get a free 2010 instead of a refund. Besides this, try taking your file to a new computer and see how it behaves. Look at the answer I just to Upgraded to QB's Pro 2009- still having same problem, as you need to consider many of the same things.
