UPDATED: Recording of the 1099-MISC regulation changes webinar is now available!

US QuickBooks Online Edition

 

The IRS issued new reporting regulations for tax year 2011 1099-MISC form. These regulations will exclude some forms of payments from the 1099-MISC form; instead, the payments will be reported on the new third party form 1099-K.

Join us for a 45 minute webinar on January 10th at 12:15 pm PT.  We will briefly discuss the legislation. I listened to the recording of the online version, but I heard them mention on several occassions that the desktop version had been recorded. Do you have the link for that one?

We won't be having another webinar in regards to the 1099 changes, but you can view the recording for the webinar using one of the links listed in the above posts, depending on what version of QuickBooks you're using.  The exclusions are due to the IRS changes.  You can read about the IRS changes at the following link.

You're not able to print the slides from the recording for QuickBooks Online.  The recording was a live demo as opposed to powerpoint slides.
