Update Installation preventing access to Quickbooks

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2009

After a update release was loaded I am getting this warning and I am not allowed to open my QB company: THis version of QB is newer than the version of QB that is hosting multi-user access to the company file.

Could you please tell me what is the latest update you took?

I will tell you to update all your computers running QuickBooks. It seems you have not updated your hosting server. Please update that and you will be fine.

What if you don't have a hosting computer. We don't have QB installed on our server, we only save the company file to the server. What is there to upgrade on the server?? I work at a CPA firm and I have to copy all my 2009 QB clients to my computer so that I can access them.
