Underlines missing
Printed out reports and the lines are all missing, what do I do, they are showing on preview. These reports are taking forever.

Is this a question for Statement Writer or QuickBooks? You've listed QuickBooks Pro as your product, which does not include Statement Writer.
I'm using QB2011 Enterprise with ISW - In ISW I go to Statement Writer/Preferences/Formatting and uncheck the box at the bottom of the screen for "Use QBS Smart Underlines" so that I can put in my own underlines. I Apply and click OK. It seems like my underlines hold for a while. Maybe when I close the excel sheet and then open it back up. But then this time I worked on it yesterday and I kept checking and the underlines were there, but today when I opened up QB2011 Enterprise and opened ISW, the underlines were gone. I "Save Report" constantly. Don't know what else to try.
How are you applying the underlines in Excel? Are you using cell borders or the underline capability?
Also - can you check to make sure you are on the latest release of ISW? We have fixed some issues regarding underlines, so it's possible you may not have those fixes installed.
I couldn't find a release #, but after I went into ISW before I opened existing report, I clicked on "Check for Updates" and it says i have the most current version. If this isn't okay, where do I look?
To put the additinal underlines where I want them sometimes I've been using Format Painter, sometimes I've copied a cell with an underline, then highlighted cells to be fixed and done a Paste Special for only the formats. Always I then saving the report under the Statement Properties menu.
Using Format Painter isn't always going to be recognized by Statement Writer. I suggest using Cell Styles for underlining. Depending on the version of Excel you're using will depend on where you find the stylesheet for cells. We have some ISW formats that should do exactly what you want. All of the ISW formats will have "ISW." in the name, and there's a few for different types of underlines. You can also create your own cell style, which ISW will recognize and keep every time you open the statement.
I tried this - highlighted the cells for which I needed an underslin, chose Cell Styles, chose ISW.SubtotalAmounts - the one with an underline under the words. It looked great, I chose Save Report under Statement Writer drop down menu, then selected Save As under Statement Writer drop down menu and saved as pdf file. The reports in pdf look great. Then, without having closed out of ISW, I went into one report to edit a header and my lines were gone. Looked at the other reports and my lines are still there. On the report whose header I edited the pdf has the lines. So, does editing a header under Statement Properties cause my underlines to disappear? I try and try, but cannot find any rhyme or reason to this.
If you are editing the header through Statement Writer functionality, the lines should stay. Does this also happen with a brand new report? If not, it's possible your report is damaged and will explain why this is happening. If it still happens in a brand new report, I recommend giving support a call to find a resolution.
