Unable to use gotomypc with Lacerte.
I am unable to work on Lacerte if I am accessing it via gotomypc. I receive a catastrophic failure (I believe the error is init processing). It would obviously be helpful to work form home sometimes. Any ideas?

You may be able to install a copy of Lacerte on your home computer, without your employer paying an extra license fee, if the only reason you have Lacerte on your home computer is to access your employer's data. Doing it this way, putting your employer's whole Lacerte program on your home computer, may be the right way to do it. Your employer may have to get in touch with your Lacerte representative to see about the extra computer being included under the same license without extra cost.

Try Amy's suggestion. Last time I read the fine print in the license agreement you are allowed to install a copy on your home computer. Check with Lacerte to see if its OK.Of course that doesn't get you to the data on the company network.
