Ubuntu Users out in the cold!
Well we've got Firefox running, and MAC seems to be going well. But what about our friends using Ubuntu (Linux) running Firefox 3.0.10 (Linux). They cannot use QBOE Looks like another fix is in order.

The solution
Ozzy,
As you know, QBO is only accessible on Firefox if you are using Windows and Safari if you are using Mac. Being able to use a different browser and Os is a huge step for us. I personally am very excited. I have not heard any plans about using QBO from a Linux machine. However, you never know. Hopefully, it will be something that is avaialble in the future.

Ubuntu users are growing as people are getting fed up with Windows. I hope Intuit will realize this and remedy the problem. I am going to work on this with a friend and I will post the results if we are successful (as we did with the Firefox issue a couple of years ago). It will probably involve a Windows word-around possibly using WINE.
Another reason for posting to this board is so that Ubuntu users who come here looking for answers will see that we are already aware of the situation.
