Ubuntu Users Can Now Use QuickBooks Online Edition
I have been running a work around for the Ubuntu OS in order to use QuickBooks Online Edition. This workaround has operated flawlessly for three weeks. Installation requires the use of WINE and the entire procedure takes 6 steps and takes between 3 to five minutes depending on your expertise with Ubuntu and everything (as is common with Ubuntu) is open source and free.

1) Open 'Terminal'
2) Type - sudo apt-get install wine
3) Download Firefox for Windows
4) Run the executable, WINE will recognize that it is a windows application
5) Navigate through the installer
6) Open the Quickbooks Online application via the web address
