I am having trouble w/ my CC reconcile. I have posted a CC crg and then recd my CC stmt. When I go into the reconcile, my crgs are there but nothing on the pmt side so it will not balance. What step am I missing? Thank you for any help.
How did you post the credit card payment? You will need to post the entire payment to the credit card liability account (not to expense accounts), and then it should show up on the reconciliation.
It is under credit card in the chart of accts which I am showing as a liability. I went into banking and entered credit card charge. I used BOA which is under the CC on Chart of Accts. Then went to: Purchased from: vendors name, etc.
