Truck repair work orders

We repair trucks and need to do work orders to print and give to the mechanics so they know what needs to be done,

We would then invoice customer after work is done. What is the best way to create a work order? QB Enterprise 10.0

Create either a Sales order or Estimate. My preference is a Sales Order
