How do I copy specific customers from one company in QB's to another company in QB's?

The solution
You can import all customers from another company. In original company, File > Utilities > Export > Export lists as IIF files; check off customer list, save the file. In new company, Utilities > Import.
The list is transferred with no transactions, so once you import the list you can delete any unwanted customers.
