transactions to record payments on fixed assests.

US QuickBooks Premier : 2007: Contractor

I bought some office equiptment through a credit line with the supplier. I then set each item up as a fixed assest. How do I record transactions for payments????

When you set up each item what was the credit?  You should have debited your Fixed Asset account and credited your liabality account Accounts Payable for the total amount.  Each time you make a payment you credit Cash in Bank account , debit your Accounts Payable account and debit Interest Expenese account if you are paying any interest charges.  Hope this helps
