Tranfer all files to another drive
I have 2 drives, the one I use for QB is too small, I want to relocate my entire QB file to a much larger drive. What is the simplest way to acomplish this. I have 1 other user on a different computer.

Verify twice, then make a backup. Uninstall QB from the small drive, install it on the larger drive. Move your backup to the larger drive and restore from there.

Under File menu, Utilities, Verify Data.

If you only want to move the data file, do not uninstall the program.
YOU SAY DO NOT UNINSTALL THE PROGRAM. IF i LEAVE THE PROGRAM IN "C" AND THE DATA IN "D" OR "E", HOW WILL THE PROGRAM FIND THE FILES?

The program launches and then you select which file to open. This file can be on any storage device your computer accesses.
The program needs to reside on a drive that is managed by the operating system for programs.
If you backed up the file, and restored it to D:, you should now have a data file on D.
Open the program and the data file on D: is just another data file.
