Total tax line unassigned??
Why do I have so many entries under total tax line unassigned on the Income Tax Detail report. Each item is assigned an account, but they are showing up under total tax line unassigned.

This report is not your Items or your Accounts.
This report and function allows you to import the QB data to TurboTax, or Intuit's tax software.
The mapping isn't really required in QB but if you want to see it and use this report, then double-click that value to see which of your Accounts needs to be mapped. Then, open the chart of accounts, edit these accounts, and look to the bottom, for the mapping.
