To LLC or not to LLC

I want to start an online business to be a personal tour guide for my city. I'm not sure if becoming an LLC is right for me. I would have to have my husband as a silent partner. Is this legal?

This can be a complex issue and really depends on the nature of your business and your goals. I suggest talking to an attorney. You may be able to obtain some free legal advice from your local SCORE as many have a day where an attorney is available for legal questions and an accountant is available for financial issues. http://www.score.org/findscore...
