Time Tracking Without Payroll Module

US QuickBooks Premier : 2009: Accountant

Is it possible to use the time tracking and timesheets feature without the payroll module? I don't do payroll, so didn't pay to get that module. But I'd like to be able to track my time by client for billing purposes. I'm using Premier Accountant 2009.

Yes, you can enable time tracking by going to Edit > Preferences and clicking the time & expenses option on the left. This will allow you track time for billing purposes, however you won't be able to effectively track cost for that time without payroll.
