Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! TEMPLATE MOD WITH DATA FIELDS TO CARRY FORWARD TO OTHER DOCS

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2010

when customizing a template, how do I get a data field to automatically transfer to other forms for the same Customer. Ie: issue a P.O. to my manufacturer but have my P.O. number transfer to the Customer invoice.

Sorry, generally you can't automatically carry fields from a customer form to a vendor form.
