Open QuickBooks. Press the F1 key on your keyboard. Click on the Help tab. Then click on the Search button. Search for "about sales tax" (without the quotes). The first six topics returned will be pertinent.

There is no single line item. If you are trying to complete a tax return, work your way through the Help items in my original response and you will come to understand how that number can be derived.
"Taxable gross receipts" may be total sales, it may be sales for which you have collected sales tax and you must turn it into the appropriate agency.
