Tax Form Printing Problems

Please respond with answers to the following questions: 

• Are you printing directly to the printer?
• Does this happen printing to screen too?
• Does this happen for every company
• Are you printing from EasyACCT or the Information Return System (IRS)
  • If EasyACCT, does it work in the IRS program?
• Have you ever been able to print 941s from EasyACCT?
• If so, when was the last time?
• Has anything on your system changed since?
• What printer driver are you using with the HP 2035?
• Are you getting an error message of any kind, or does it just lock up?
• Is the printer local or shared?
• Does this happen on other reports/forms?

Are you printing directly to the printer? Yes
Does this happen printing to screen too? No
Does this happen for every company? Yes
Are you printing from EasyACCT or the Information Return System (IRS)? EasyACCT
If EasyACCT, does it work in the IRS program? IRS program works correctly
Have you ever been able to print 941s from EasyACCT? Yes
If so, when was the last time? 2008
Has anything on your system changed since? bought 7 Vista computers in 2008 mine has not worked since all others work.
What printer driver are you using with the HP 2035? Universal Print Driver USB
Are you getting an error message of any kind, or does it just lock up? EasyACCT exicuitable not responding
Is the printer local or shared? Local
Does this happen on other reports/forms? Tax Forms and W-2's
 

Please follow the steps below: 

1. At the Company Selection screen, click File > Print Preferences > Restore defaults.
2. Choose the option 'Restore all report categories' and click OK. 
3. Open the company and return to the Print Reports screen.
4. Click Clear, and answer Yes at the prompt.
5. Select the 941 and try printing.
