Anyone using a program to sync local data files with a a network database? I work from home evenings and weekends and end up with 2 Lacerte databases. I understand I can use the backup/restore function but that really doesn't sync the files and is very time consuming.
We use a VPN and all data files on saved on the network, no matter where we are working.
i have just installed a vpn and all my other programs are working fine except for lacerte, which is very very slow.
sjrcpa, did you have to change any option files or settings to get it to work ?
The VPN was so slow it was unworkable with Lacerte 3 years ago. I'd be interested in hearing how it works for you.
