I'm needing help with converting my fsd statements from 2009 QBs to 2012 QBs & ISW.  I saw a 2009 ISW conversion file but it won't download.  Other instructions I saw said that I can choose import > FSD from the Statement Writer menu but I can't find the statement writer menu with an import option.  Can you  help me?

We have all of our FSD conversion tools located online at http://proadvisor.intuit.com/product/accounting-software/statement-writer.jsp

For QSW 2012, I would recommend using the ISW 2011 converter.

The 2011 converter doesn't work for me because I didn't have it in my QBs version 2011.  Will there be a converter for 2012 soon?  The I have been using the FSD w/ my 2009 version.

Last week I was able to download the 2009 converter.  Today I converted my files and they say they converted when I try to pull them over from the 2012 ISW window to open in excel nothing opens.  I choose the Quickbooks tab at the top and choose update I then get a message that it is not a valid AB report excel sheet.  What am I doing wrong?  I will watch the video's mentioned above.  I don't even see the 2009 converter tool on the website today.  I'm wondering if it doesn't really work.

If you use the link I provided in my earlier reply, you will see a download for the ISW 2011 converter. I recommend using this one as it converts more data over. If you need help with teh conversion tool, please give support a call. They can walk you through converting and opening your statements.

Like she said,

The 2010 converter did not work very well, formatting and formulas are not accurate.

Amazed that there was any charge for this program.
