So upset, I filed a Tax Return for my client and it turned into a big mess. Missing info that I know I inputted is causing client to owe money instead of getting a rightfully due refund. Angry is not the word... Where is the help??????? NO PHONE #??

Thanks for your response WillatIntuit. unfortunately there is no remedying the situation aside from filing an amendment. Its difficult to have to confront the client about this especially when tax payers are putting so much trust in tax preparers and in turn us towards our tax software developers.
I believe there should be more training provided on the software explaining in further detail WHERE exactly the information is to be inputted. The mistake occured when I placed the values in BOX 16/17 of the Electronic Filing section marked "override" as oppose to Box 16/17 of the State and Local section. Either or it should have recorded the information on the return.
Another sugestion would be to make the reviewing process a little more simple by actually generating a non-submittable PDF of the return for review purposes only. You have to payfor the Efile before you could even see the work.

When you go to the Check Results tab, you can click on Federal Tax Forms and see the return. You can't print it, or make annotations, but at least you can do an on-screen review.
