SSARS issues

This question is for those who are CPA's. I am starting a bookkeeping firm (an LLC) which is wholly owned by my CPA firm LLC. The bookkeeping firm will do bookkeeping for clients and in most cases be the whole bookkeeping and accounting department of the client. I will be involved in it and I am a CPA. I am trying to find out if I have to worry about the SSARS issues and address it in my engagement letter to the client. I have done some research but haven't found the answer yet so hoping some of you are doing this now.

Are you a member of the AICPA or your state CPA society? If you're providing bookkeeping services, I think you have to comply with the rules & regs for compilations. Check with your state board of accountancy to be sure.
