Special depreciation allowance calculation
Elected special depreciation allowance for a purchase of TPP on Oct. 15, 2010. The program is depreciating the asset 100%. I did not enter anything in Sec. 179 block. What am I missing?

You are missing the knowledge that the new tax law passed in December 2010 provides that:
100% bonus depreciation is allowed after Sept. 8, 2010 and before Jan. 1, 2012
The more I know, the more I don't know.
