I'm down in Vero Beach, FL and am having a very slow start this year. Anyone else experiencing the same? This is the slowest in 5 or 6 years. And, not to change the subject but I couldn't help but notice the post about long hold time on support. I concur, called this morning and the recording said expected wait was 10 minutes, I hung up after 31. Called back in a couple of hours and expected wait was 1/2 hour so I didn't bother.

New York City here. Slow start also, but I looked at my calendar from last year and 1/25 is when it started to pick up for me.
Just biding my time and finishing 4th quarter payroll/FUTA and W-2s/1099-MISC for payroll clients as well as any non current year returns.

As for tech support, you might want to call early in the morning as I did yesterday. No hold time
in fact I was quite surprised. Only on phone for
10minutes to solve problem for efile.

I believe that the W-2's are late this year because the IRS is late in getting 940 information to software providers. Might be something else, but this is not a new phenomonem. The phone will start ringing today as people get their W-2's with there pay check. The problem I seem to be having is the slow booting of 2007 software. Is anyone else having that problem, and has anyone been having the program fall as it did last year?. Looking for another good year as far as clients are concerned.

A little slow here in Illinois, but I think like everyboby else, the 25th things will change. Then after that we all would wish things would slow a little.
