Slow Opening file
US QuickBooks for Macintosh : 2011
File takes ~ 10 minutes to open. I recently upgraded to QB 2011 for Mac. Was running 2007. We store the file on a server but move it desktop before opening. Suggestions?

QB 2011 does take awhile to open....but not 10 minutes.
I am not using Mac, but have all company files on a server and the program on workstations. When I open QB's I tell it to look for the company file on the server. On a pc you map drives so the computer you are on can see the drive the files are on. Hope that helps.
