Signature Date on Form 8453-EO

How do I get the organization's signed date on Form 8453-EO. I have gone to Screen 5.1, entered in the date under "Organization's signature date". Do not have the "Computer Date as PIN signature date" checked. It still does not appear on the Form 8453-EO.

I am not familiar with Exempt Organization returns on Lacerte, certainly not e-filed returns of this sort.

If nobody knows how to get the right date to appear on the form (or if there is a bug in the software and you're the first one discovering it and they can't fix it quickly enough for you), you might wish to put a Statement Note on the return stating that the actual signature date is X, even though the computer accidentally printed Y or left off a date altogether.

I imagine the note would get to IRS with the electronic file, as it does on 1040 electronic files.

Back up before it's too late. For a professional answer, call Tech Support at 1-800-933-9999 (Lacerte)(other numbers ProSeries, QB, or TurboTax). I am a volunteer, not compensated or supported by Intuit.
