I run a printing business. ExampleI purchase a roll of banner for $130it has 390sqft. and i sell it for $6.50 per sqft. what is the best way to configure this. I dont sell the rolls individually. Is there anyway that i could set up a sqft input box. or when i put the roll into my inventory can specified the sqft that it has?thanks.
I would expect that you measure the banner by a linear measurement don't you? Like carpet they used to sell by the square yard but measured out 9 linear inches as one square yard (12 foot wide roll).
If so then I would stock the roll by the linear measurement and sell it based upon that.
Do you use a separate application to operate your printing business, or do you just use QB? I have a client that wishes to integrate PrintLeader with QB.
