Setting up inventory w/ serial numbers
How do I set up inventory for items that have serial numbers? We sell ocean freight containers and have been keeping inventory in another program. Each container has an individual serial number that we need to record, as well as the type of container it is. The idea is to have an item count at the end of each month, but not necessarily a list of all serial numbers.
Also, is there a tutorial for setting up and working with inventory in general, aside from the above specific question?
