I would not treat Acentria as good answers. They are reading old topics and copying info to give replies that may not be correct.
Open Edit menu > Preferences, send forms. On the My Preferences tab, wait a bit while QB scans the computer. If Thunderbird shows here, select it and set up your settings.
Make sure your QB 2012 is on R5.
