Security features in Lacerte Tax Program!!
LacerteLacerte users please write to Intuit and tell them to put the most basic of security features into their Lacerte tax program: a password to enter the program!!
I’ve been telling my sales reps about this features for years, they’ve even forwarded this suggestion on to some VP, and all she wrote was “good idea”, but here we are years later and we still don’t have it.
So here we are and anybody who has access to our workstation can then access the Lacerte tax program: IT personnel, a family member with prying eyes for those who work from or take work home, etc..
This is unfair that anyone can enter the tax program once they are on the system. QuickBooks has a password feature, why shouldn’t the tax program from the same manufacturer have this feature too?
