Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for patience while we improve our infrastructure to better serve you. International versions are unaffected. For more info, see our community discussion.

Save to USB

QuickBooks Canada : Pro 2012

Can I save vendor invoices, or any forms or reports to a USB media stick to be printed at another printer location?

Thanks for the quick response.

Would you happen to know how to email invoices? I'm using 2012 Pro and it won't work?

Do you use Outlook or Webmail?  When Intuit added the new web-based email options beginning with the 2011 products, Intuit removed QuickBooks Email as an option unless you’ve paid more to be an active subscriber to another Intuit supported service, including:

  • Intuit Payroll
  • QuickBooks Merchant Services
  • ProAdvisor Program
  • Accountant’s Copy File Transfer
  • QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions Full Service Plan
  • QuickBooks Billing Solutions
  • Intuit Solution Provider Program
  • QuickBooks Pro/Premier Plus

If you use Outlook or Webmail, go to Edit > Preferences > Send forms > My preferences and check Webmail then ADD to set up your webmail.

I have windows live, and telus is my service provider. I have confirmed with them that all my settings are correct, the seem to think it's a quickbooks issue. Any suggestions?

Since you're using the Canadian version, I'm at a disadvantage, but I don't think you can use Windows Live with QB.  For the US version:

"Windows Live Mail: While QuickBooks is not designed to email through Windows Live Mail, you can save Invoices, Reports Estimates, Purchase Orders and other forms as a .pdf file. Once saved as a .pdf file you can attach them to an email from any email software that supports attachments."
