Sales Tax

I don't know why. But this seems like a step backward instead of an improvement.

We have gotten a lot of questions about the sales tax problems. The best thing to do is to call QBOE Support @800-286-6800 6am - 6pm PT, M-F, Saturday 9am - 3pm PT.

I'm not fluffing you off, but it is necessary for Intuit to record these problems after they do upgrades. We are just volunteer users who man this forum and there have been too many complaints on this new tax upgrade that Intuit pushed out.

 We have the same problem here.  We have found that for each invoice/sales receipt, we must select a tax rate in the drop down box at the bottom of the form.  There doesn't appear to be a way to set this as a default.

Thanks Intuit, as always, for ...

1. Not thoroughly testing features before releasing them.

2. Expecting us to pick up the $%^&ing phone to call you, taking us away from our customers to help you fix YOUR problems.

3.  Treating your paying customers as beta testers.

You guys are unbelievable.  This is the 4th bug I've encountered in the past week.

This is the biggest blunder I've seen QBO make.  Please use your Feedback button to let your complaint be heard AND call support.  This should be QBO's top priority right now.  Unfortunately, QBO doesn't acknowledge problems until after they're fixed.  They are not open and transparent about these things.  Very frustrating.

 I apologize for the frustration this has caused.  I wanted to let you know we have been going through the feedback we've received and made changed based on the feedback.  You can now add a default sales tax rate that will show up on the sales forms.  I've included a link with the steps to set a default sales tax rate.
