restore file up to date
US QuickBooks for Macintosh : 2011
My company QB which I backed up yesterday is coming up with a date of 12/02/11 rather than 2/02/12. How can I restore to correct date/

Sometimes files viewed from within QB show odd dates. Does it show the same date when viewed from Documents>Quickbooks? Is it possible you made some type of an entry in QB with that same date 12/02/11 prior to backup?

Yes I have tried document/ Quickbooks, but I get the same outdated information. The last invoice date is 12/2/11 and the check register last entry is 9/26/11.

Try file>utilities>verify data and rebuild data. Run rebuild data at least three times. From looking at your other questions you have had date issues for a while. If you start a new invoice do you get the current date?
