How do I remove past years history to make quick books faster. I have all the way back to 2000 on my quickbooks 07

1. Verify data integrity to make sure the data is not damaged
2. Backup your data file!!!
3. Run the Clean Up utility as of certain date on a local computer and let it go all the way through (may take hours or days)
4. Create a portable file
5. Open that portable file
6. Check the file size and performance. If the file is still too large and performance is slow, feel free to contact me off-line.
