Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). remote support

I'm looking for a method to remotely support clients where I would take over their computers and they could follow what I'm doing. I'm not wild about what QB has to offer - # of clients is limited and expensive. doesn't seem good for a client who calls on the fly and needs support. I have a free trial with Webex remote support - they have a per user charge. any thoughts on this?thanks -Alicia Green

I recently swithed to GoToMeeting.com
It works well and doesn't have a per user charge. The cost is about $50 per month. You can also use it for small webinar presentations of up to about 15 meeting attendees. The also have a version that handles more attendees.

Have you looked into Logmein? I believe the pricing is more affordable. Seems to be popular amongst geographically-dispursed companies.

I had a disastrous experience with the Webex Remote Access (that can be accessed through QB), and would not recommend Webex to anyone.

However... I have been using a trial of TeamViewer, which so far I have been very happy with.

I am glad to hear about gotomeeting.com, and will try this one also. Thanks!

I work with a client that uses gotomypc.com, which works very well. But this is a per-computer license - in other words, this is not a solution that can be used when a client calls me with a question, and I need to see their computer screen.
