Relicensing 2009 ---- Anyone else have a representative tell you that they can't re-license your 20009-etc software because they have no record of you ever buying it???? LOL I gave them order # and they are still having difficulty with this...

May I call you PP for short? I have not had this issue. And Customer Service will not authorize you for it? I plan on purchasing a new computer this year and want to re-load some old versions of Pro Series. I hope I don't have the same issue.

LOL Yes PP is fine. I am so happy I have OCD about keeping old emails when I order something. Finally, I gave them the old order number from when it was oirginally shipped and it was found. For some reason, it was not linked with my Customer #. Once they had that (25 min later) he was able to give me a "new" licensing code so it works. I did what you are thinking of doing and lost all old data due a virus and had to buy new hard drives...if you have the order #'s it will help with confusion. :o)
You know that Intuit changed our acct. #s, right? Try using the new number instead of the one it was originally licensed with.
Yes, that is half the problem. They have me hard time with renewing and purchasing the 2011 version too. Couldn't order online...again, 30+ minutes with customer service to straighten that out and create a whole new account with a different email address. Thinking of going with other software next year if I run into any more issues. It shouldn't be this hard to spend this much money! LOL
