how do I record the expenses paid in credit card, and the payment(monthly) and actual expense are different? I'm using 5credit cards to pay the expenses, especially to pay for big items, like equipments, but paying just minimum monthly.
Each CC should be set up as a credit card type account in QB, open the chart of accounts use the button bottom left create new, and select CC type, name it
then use enter CC charges on the home screen when you use the card to buy something
when you make a payment enter the check and use that CC account in the account block of the check
when the statement comes in use reconcile on the home screen
