Reconcile Freeze
After I click the reconcile button the quickbooks program does not respond--it freezes--I then have to click the close button and restart program. What may be causing this?

Try running the Verify and Rebuild commands on the file. May be data damage in the file, requiring either restoring a good backup or getting the file professionally repaired.

click on adobe preferences, under edit.
then at the left click on internet at the left hand side.
uncheck the option ... display browser in pdf

I had a little trouble following your abreviated directions but I figured it out. You are talking about settings in Adobe Reader, not in Quickbooks Pro. When I tested it, Quickbooks crashed like usual so at first I thought it didn't work. When I started Quickbooks again and tried it, the problem was fixed. I guess you need to re-start quickbooks in order for it to work. Anyhoo, thanks for the help. It resolved my problem and I would have never figured this out on my own.
