Reconcile bank no transfers showing.
QuickBooks CanadaI am wondering why I cannot find the transfer payments when I am trying to reconcile my bank accounts.
I used transfers to pay my Visa. Visa accounts are reconciled.

Find the transfer and make sure that you used the correct bank account.

I have reconciled the Visa no problem. Now I am trying to reconcile the Bank and am out the amount i transfered to my Visa. There is nothing to check to reconcile.

Go to your Visa Register from your Chart Of Accounts.
Find the transfer. Open it. Look at the transaction.

The solution
Look at your Visa Statement.
Does the payment show there or was it made after the statement date? That would allow you to reconcile your visa account.
No, do not enter your Visa as a bill.
When you reconcile your Visa, ignore the question asking if you want to pay later. This creates a bill. This transaction only works if you pay the full balance.
When you actually pay the bill, go to Write Cheques and write a cheque to Visa and use your Visa credit card account as your expense account.
