Encountered an improper argument.
I rec'd the identical message when I opened QB Pro 2010 this morning.
Ditto, Just got this message too. But I have had Pro 2010 up for several hours. And mine doesn't say the bottom line 'Encountered an improper argument'. I've also had several crash issues with IE9 the last two weeks, which freezes up my whole computer and forces me to restart with the power button.
I uninstalled IE9 at work and at home. I did that before this message. I had Excel up in the background and rec'd the error when I opened QB.
