RANDOM LETTERS AT PRINTING.
WHEN I PRINT THE RETURNS, RANDOM LETTERS APPEAR ALL OVER THE RETURN. HOW CAN I STOP THIS? I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL THINGS, BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO HELP.

I have seen this problem corrected in the past by downloading fonts to the printer, but I do not know exactly how that was done.
When anyone doing nothing needs help, I will gladly help that person do nothing.

My "guess" would be that the printer needs more memory.

Are you using a "good" printer"? ProSeries has some printer "recommendations": no host-based printer and should have it's own memory.

is it also happening when you look at the return on the monitor? if so, that's usually a fonts issue, and can be fixed by opening and then closing the fonts folder in your control panel. if it's just on the printer that it happens, you may want to have your local tech look at your printer drivers to see if they need to be updated, or try this Knowledgebase article. http://tinyurl.com/yffadnh

In my experience with this issue it occurs when there is not enough memory in the printer and the file backup creates the fonts all over the documents
I salute all our current Military and our Veterans.
