In order to make QuickBooks Simple Start as easy to learn and use as possible, it does not include some of the more advanced features of other QuickBooks editions. Importing data from Quicken is available only in QuickBooks Pro, Premier, and Enterprise Solutions editions.
If you want to directly convert data to QuickBooks from Quicken 98-2009 and Quicken Home and Business 98-2009, you might want to consider upgrading to QuickBooks Pro. The conversion copies your Quicken data to a new QuickBooks company, leaving your original Quicken data files unchanged for continued use.
