Yes the Web Connector works with an "always-on" (broadband) connection. The Web Connector allows you to run different online services that are integrated with QB. The Web Connector starts up automatically when you log in and runs in the background. If you look at the bottom right hand corner of your screen on your Taskbar, you should see an icon for the Web Connector if it's running. Double-click it to open the window and then click the Help button and you can read all about the Web Connector and what it does.

Okay, well then I only have and need one Internet running. I thought that crystal reports and such could be ran into this Web Connector, or is that the SDK? What program is it that runs crystal reports, Excel and others? I read this in the course material and or the Proadvisor exam somewhere.

Crystal reports and Excel can work with the ODBC driver (although there are some Excel import and export features that work directly).
