Quickbooks vs. Quicken

I am starting a bookkeeping business where I track my client's personal expenses. Will quickbooks allow me to keep separate files of all of their bank and credit card accounts and download that data off the internet? Or can I just use quicken?

Quicken is designed for personal use not for business use. Yes you can use QuickBooks for separate files for Bank accounts and Credit Card Accounts and down load the info from the internet. You can have as many companies set up depending on your memory space on your computer (or server).

You can use Quicken or QB. Either is fine. You will find Quicken has better tools built into it for managing personal financial activity. You simply need to open a separate data file for each of the clients.

If you decide to use QB, you are probably fine using Pro.

I use both. The Quicken tools are better for tracking mortgage, stocks and bonds, mutual fund investments, etc.
