How do I retrieve Quickbooks Pro back-up files asking for Admin password that I have forgotten? Does Quickbooks have a software to do this?I did a back-up of 2005 Quickbooks Pro files and when I tried restoring them into my new 2008 Quickbooks Pro, it asked for the Admin password which I forgot, apparently the files need to be converted.Thanks.

If you have forgotten the admin password to your 2005 file, that password is removable. Unfortunately there is no downloadable tool that may be used on a file from that version--you're going to have to upload it to the Intuit secure server for password removal. Even though you're upgrading to 2008, the password must be removed in 2005 first.
