How do I obtain a copy of QuickBooks Pro 2010 Student Trial Edition? The instructions on the QB Proadvisor website refer to a CD. I called the Proadvisor help line and they do not know where to get this trial edition.
It is QB Pro. The only thing "trial" about it is, there are two perspectives. If you buy the Learning Guide it has a disk that lets you install and use Pro for 140 days. If you pay for the Student edition of Pro from Intuit, it is has no time limit but is limited to three installations. If you had bought Pro through Costco two weeks ago, it was about $20 cheaper for the real QB Pro than the three-installation-limit edition from Intuit. It was about $85.

You wrote about the trial company file. There are two disks with the Learning Guide; one is the "sample" Rock Castle Construction file and one is the QB Pro program. If you have the Learning Guide or the Instructor's Guide, look in the back. If you only downloaded the Instructor's Guide, you also can download the sample file.
