My quickbooks PDF Converter has taken over my Vista computer. Everyday I start to print and the Quickbooks PDF Converter has become my Default Printer. I uninstall it and select the correct default, but the next day (without rebooting my computer), I have the same problem. Does anyone have any ideas?
Go into your control panel. Click on printers. Right click on the printer you want to use as your default printer - after your right click on the default printer, you will have the option to set the printer you want as your default printer. When you first install QuickBooks, the prograam will set the QuickBooks PDF Converter for the default printer automatically. That is something that I hope is fixed in the 2009 versions.
2009 version does the same thing. Here is the fix:

well i got a 2010 version and its 2011 and i still have to delete this pdf converter once a month at least. quickbooks is so busy trying to do everything else in my computer they reallly should just focus on their own software. b.t.w. this link didn thave anythinig
