Create a separate file.
File menu > New company
Quicken is better for personal use though.

since I am a sole proprietor, I can have deductible expenses in my personal checkbook. Also, I have 2 credit cards. One is primarily for business but that doesn't mean I don't use the other one occasionally for business. I bought quickbooks to replace Quicken and am resistant to use both. Your thoughts?
