In a church's accounting, if through the year parishioners give toward two students for their books and I write checks to give to the students, how do I show the checks without their being an expense?
In a church's accounting, if through the year parishioners give toward two students for their books and I write checks to give to the students, how do I show the checks without their being an expense?






If you show income and also expense the 2 will offset. If you need to track them in some other manner let us know.

I have a question. We took up a Love Offering for a missionary. I want to show this on the members' contribution statements; however, since it was in cash, it wasn't deposited. They just gave the missionary the cash that was received. How can I show this without it going to my deposit.
