Quickbooks Error Code: 01030 07004

Hi,I need information on specific Quickbooks error while I was backing up my data file which is located on network. The error was:"Quickbooks has experienced a problem and must be shut down. and the error code was given as Code: 01030 07004.Kindly provide me information regarding this error as i could find it on the website.Thanks

Hi,

Thanks a lot for providing me the information guide. I tried almost everything listed in there:

My problem is:

I have one qb enterprise 5.0 data file. I want to upgrade that file to version 7.0 of qbe. This file is working fine in version 5.0. When i tried to upgrade this file to 7.0 version, first it prompted me to take backup of the file, i did the same successfully, then it prompted me to upgrade the file, i confirmed by typing "yes" then after the upgrading process finished it gave me the following message:

An error occurred when qb tried to access the company file. please try again, if the prob persists, contact intuit tech support and provide teh following error code: (-6032, -195)."

After looking for this particular error on qb support, i tried verifying data file, it gave me ok response with no error, then I rebuilt the data successfully. Again i tried to upgrade this rebuilt data file to version 7.0 but again same again (-6032, -195). I tried it on another computers but same error. Kindly assist.

Hi Kulwinder,


Thanks for posting back with what you found.  In this case, you'll need to contact tech support.   They may need to send the file to our Data Services department so that they can fix the damage and convert the file for you.

Hi,

Its been long since I replied to this post, I am waiting for my query/problem to be resolved as I asked for any link for uploading my data file which need to be converted/upgraded from QB Enterprise Version 5.0 to QB Enterprise Version 7.0 accountant edition.
